Kindness of Neighbors Saved the Day
“Yesterday morning two complete strangers showed up at my house. I cautiously opened the door and heard a loud gush of water. The men told me I had a broken pipe and water was rushing down my driveway. They asked about a turn off valve and I lead them to a very dark and undesirable crawl space. One of them climbed up to shut it off as the other held the stool. I was honestly in a state of shock which was more about the kindness and help along with another homeowner issue. The water could have run for hours without me knowing it which would have been a disaster. More than that my faith in people was renewed when two neighborhood strangers came to my rescue.
My heart has been warmed and I’m full of appreciation for the broken pipe that reminded me that people still care. Hope to properly thank them when our paths cross again.”
